REDUCE COSTS, INCREASE PAY
Everyday life is getting too expensive for working families across Washington. Between skyrocketing housing prices, rising grocery bills, and climbing utility rates, paychecks are not stretching as far as they used to. Jenn Marie will fight to lower daily expenses by holding utility companies accountable, incentivizing affordable and workforce housing, and cutting unnecessary red tape for local small businesses. At the same time, she will champion worker protections, defend collective bargaining, and invest in robust apprenticeship and career training programs. Our economy is strongest when working people earn family-wage jobs that allow them to live, work, and thrive right here at home.
BUILD STRONGER COMMUNITIES
Thriving neighborhoods depend on dependable infrastructure and safe streets. Jenn Marie will prioritize critical state investments to repair aging roads and bridges, expand high-speed broadband, and modernize clean water systems. With severe weather increasingly threatening our region, she will champion proactive flood prevention and stormwater management to protect family homes, local farms, and small businesses before disaster strikes. Jenn Marie also knows public safety is fundamental: she will fight to ensure our police, firefighters, and emergency medical responders have the staffing, training, and mental health resources needed to protect our neighborhoods while investing in community-based solutions that prevent crime.
INVEST IN PUBLIC EDUCATION & HEALTHCARE
A strong community starts with fully funded public schools and reliable, accessible healthcare for every neighbor. Jenn Marie believes our state must fulfill its duty to fully fund K-12 education, support dedicated educators, and expand special education resources so every student gets a fair start. She will champion technical education, trade schools, and community colleges to prepare young people for good-paying local careers. In healthcare, Jenn Marie will fight to keep local clinics and hospitals open, cap soaring prescription drug prices, protect reproductive freedom, and expand mental health and addiction treatment services so no family is left behind when facing a health crisis.
STOP OVERTAXING & UNDERFUNDING OUR COMMUNITIES
Washington’s tax system is fundamentally broken. Working families and small businesses carry an unfair burden, while local districts too often see their tax dollars sent to Olympia without receiving fair investment in return. Government must work for everyday people, not political insiders. Jenn Marie will serve as an independent, practical voice in the state legislature—refusing to be a rubber stamp for the Governor or party leadership in Seattle. Both parties must step up, cut wasteful spending, and fix our upside-down tax code so the wealthiest pay their share while delivering real, tangible relief to working-class households.
PUT BIG TECH IN CHECK!
Giant technology corporations have operated without enough accountability for too long. Jenn Marie is committed to safeguarding the digital privacy of all Washingtonians by establishing strict state protections against corporate data harvesting and banning invasive mass surveillance systems like Flock cameras in our neighborhoods. Furthermore, massive data centers and tech facilities consume huge amounts of power, placing an unfair strain on our local electric grid and driving up residential utility bills. Jenn Marie will hold Big Tech accountable by making sure they pay their fair share for the public resources they use, protecting our local power supply and everyday ratepayers.
